The Pilates Method was originally created by Joseph Pilates over 45 years ago. It promotes body/mind coordination, strength(toning), flexibility, improved posture, balance and a powerful core. Pilates is for everyone and everyone can benefit from working at their own level. concentrate on each movement, body part and your breathing. the breathing and the movements are closely connected. Breath slowly and focus. Relax.
1. Please wear comfortable clothing (workout pants & top).
2. Bare feet or socks may be worn.
3. Bring a towel or mat to work out on.
4. Class signups are per session or drop in fee.
5. We will follow Southern Lehigh School District Schedule.
6. If school is closed or off due to weather, we are closed or off also.
7. Work at your own pace. Listen to your body!
8. Take a break when you need it during exercises.
9. Drink water before and after class.
10. Expect some muscle soreness one to two days after class.
11. Take a warm shower after class to reduce muscle soreness.
12. Stretch and move the next day to relieve stiffness.
13. Adapt exercises to your body(injuries, new, experienced, etc).
14. Ask questions to clarify.
